Check out my new game The World's Hardest Game 3! It's exclusive on Addicting Games at the moment. I've been working on this for the last 8 months, and it was a pretty brutal process, so it's nice to finally be done. Also, this is my first finished AS3 game.

After almost 6 years, my game The World's Hardest Game is now finally the most popular game of all time on Addicting Games with over 70 million plays! It's also highly unlikely that any game will ever surpass it.

I'll be releasing The World's Hardest Game #3 hopefully in late October, be sure to check it out because there's some changes that make it a lot better than the previous two games and much harder!

Straight Bullyism has been done for a few months, but now that I've got my server switched over, finished the info section of the SB site, and made an SB desktop wallpaper, I've finally released Straight Bullyism to Newgrounds (after over 3 years of work)! Check it out!

Now I've got around 5 months off before I go to university for computer science, so in the meantime I'm hoping to finally start learning AS3, and also maybe get a head start on learning Java or C++ (which is what I'll be doing in uni). I might make a small AS3 game, but other than that I'll just be doing some websites and learning some new programming, so you probably won't see much from me. I was hoping to animate this clip of Red Bar Radio, but I probably won't have time.

Straight Bullyism on NG!

After 3 years of on and off work, Straight Bullyism is FINALLY done. I'm going to wait probably a month or so before I submit it to NG, but play it and tell me what you think, and if you notice any bugs or loading problems.

One major setback while working on SB was that the file exceeded the memory limits of Flash, and I had to cut the game up into 3 files (one for each level), and at the end of each level you open the next level in a new window (which carries over your data). Had I known from the start that Flash had memory limits, I could have designed the game to work in one file. Oh well.

My site runs on Dreamhost's 'Blue Moon 12' dedicated server which is like $250/mo, but it still overloads and goes down occasionally. This is unacceptable because then people can't play levels 2 and 3 of SB whenever it's down. So, before releasing to NG I'm going to find a more reliable dedicated server from a different host.

Straight Bullyism Done! Play Now!

Hey NG,

I'm really close to finishing Straight Bullyism; it should be released either a week before Christmas or a week after. This project has been hanging over my head for around 3 years so I'm very excited to release it.

Here's the 3rd boss's death animation and a video of me doing it.

I'm still working on Straight Bullyism; it should hopefully be released in August with 3 levels. Here's a cutscene I animated for level 3 featuring the voice of Yotam Perel. There's also a video of me animating the hair below.

I'm not worried about giving away too much of the game because there's still tons of cutscenes that I haven't revealed; the August release should have about 12 minutes of cutscenes (which is much longer than any solo cartoon I've done). Also, level 3 is significantly larger than level 2.

I'm finishing up Straight Bullyism while going to summer school, and then I have to take 3 credits in a semester of highschool. I dropped out of grade 12 a few years ago to work on SB full-time, which has actually worked out pretty well (despite the crippling loneliness and despair). Can't wait to release the game! School should be a nice break from animating/programming.

Here's the cutscene...

Here's an animation I did of a hall monitor melting into goo for my upcoming RPG, "Straight Bullyism".

Also here's a screen of one of the cool frames.

Hey NG. I've been working on a turn-based RPG called "Straight Bullyism" for 2 years (on and off), and I've finally got the first 2 levels done. I've decided to release them now just for a few days in order to gather some feedback. This is exciting for me because I haven't shown many people the game.

Also, since it is really big and has each level loaded on a different page - as well as pieces loaded externally throughout - I wanted to make sure nobody was having problems loading, and that my servers wouldn't cause it to load slow.

I also recorded this video for anybody who missed Beta testing and wanted to try the game. The volume is a bit wonky in the video.

Hey guys. I'm still working on an RPG called Straight Bullyism, right now I'm finishing off most of the player attacks. This newest attack involves the player coughing up 3 cigarettes, lighting and sucking them down, and then blowing a smoke fist. The video of me doing it is ~7 hours of work shown at 32x.

In case you wanted to play SB, you can very soon! In the next week or so (maybe sooner), I'm make level 1 and 2 playable for a day or two in order to make sure it works well for everybody. I'll announce this on both SB and SL blogs, so if you sign up for either mailing list you can probably catch the beta phase and try out the game. Then I will make level 3 and fully release the game, and if it does well I will make level 4 and that'll probably be it.

Also, here's a link to a little rough draft I did for a short cartoon. The voices were just a quick read-through so I wasn't trying to do it too well.

I'm sure only in your wildest dreams did you think you could have a thumbs up/down counter within your Flash content that works anywhere - well, dream no more! Screw the NG voting system; have the people vote right inside your Flash!

Check out my Flash/PHP - Thumbs Up/Down tutorial (some requirements)

Also, I recorded another video of me working on Straight Bullyism (animating the stomach grumble animation of an enemy). This time I included a shitty video of me voice-acting. Next time I'll do one with real lines.
