I think you need to move away from just shapes into bodies and figures, also, lose the text and better music please. Pretty cool atm, though.

Impressive!

That was some very impressive stuff. Loved the text effects, as well as the actual movie. Try to move away from the circle hands that aren't attached to the body, they look really bad in my eyes.

Nonetheless, very very nice.

That was some ancient thing I threw together in late 2004, and then I redid the graphics sometime in mid 2005. It's probably the worst part of this entire movie, and one of the main reasons why I dislike it.

Potential

You use your gradients okay, but you use too many. Spruce up the graphics, and make sure the quality stays the same throughout the movie, because I found it got better as it progressed. Also, stick fights generally move faster than that, more so for the start. Speed up the start and keep it the same speed.

Anyway, I see a huge, juicy, hearty, bulging lobe of potential in this, some great FBF, some cool stuff, ya ya, lookin good mate. You can only go up from here for sure.

Wow that really means a hell of a lot to me man. you're right i do use too many gradients, the bad thing is the next part is gonna have more lol but better graphics. yes it did get better as it progressed because i was getting the hang of it. i also uped the fps from 15 to 20 and i will keep a fast pace for the next one.

I used to dislike your stuff a lot because of the low quality graphics, but they have slowly been getting better and the stories have always been awesome. You did a good job here.

About the graphics though...I was never an artist. I never went to art class, or anything, so I barely know anything about anything. That's why I just gotta do what I hope I can with writing and stuff like that.

Great, but

That isn't what filters are for. The way you use blur there you it is just slowing things down for no reason. Blur is for big blurs, not little small blurs like that. You should have selected the shadow or whatever and selected Modify > Shape > Solften Fill Edges. This will look identical but will not lag at all. The lag in this movie kind of ruined it, and for no reason.

Anyway, the art and animation was top nautch, and I like the concept. Great job.

Sorry bout the lag. I didn't know about the soften fill feature. Will definitely be making use of that in the next episode. I'm glad you still hooked me up with a 10 despite the lagging!!! And thanks for the heads up!

I knew this would be good, I saw a preview in the Anim:Main, woot! That was amazing, the only thing I could suggest is to slow down on those blur filters, the create tooo much lagg.

I agree, the filter use was a little heavy... its weird because on my computer it shows up fine and i fall into a false sense of security that nobody will run into lag.
